Crorepati Mutual Fund: Amazing returns! Just Rs 700 SIP grew to Rs 1.36 crore - Rs 64,124 crore AUM

Going by the past returns delivered by HDFC Flexi Cap Fund, had someone made a month investment of just Rs 300 via SIP since the inception of the scheme, their corpus would have grown to a whopping Rs 1.36 crore, with annualised returns of 21.05 per cent. The invested amount across the 30 years would have been Rs 2,52,000.

As of February 28, 2025, HDFC Flexi Cap Fund had invested 88.37 per cent in equity, 7.88 per cent in cash & cash equivalents, 2.95 per cent in real estate and 0.8 per cent in debt. The mutual fund scheme has the biggest investment in HDFC Bank shares, followed by ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Maruti Suzuki.

The scheme is mandated to invest at least 65 per cent of its assets in equity stocks at all times. Flexi cap funds have complete freedom to invest in companies of different sizes, depending on where the fund management team expects maximum gains.
